As an employer how do I determine if I need to offer coverage to my employees?
Employers that have ATNE “Average Total Number of Employees” of more than 50 on their wage and tax for the measurement period you have chosen must offer affordable and valuable coverage as defined by the Government.
Do I have to comply with the ACA Compliance of Tracking/Recording & Reporting and 1094 / 1095 filings?
Employers that have over 50 lives on their wage and tax must comply with the Tracking/Reporting and Recording and 1094 and 1095 filings.
Can I apply for individual health coverage outside of the “Open Enrollment” period?
YES, you may apply for individual coverage outside of “Open Enrollment” due to a life changing event on or off the Exchange.
What are the statistics of me needing Long Term Care?
One in every 2 individuals will need Long Term Care prior to their demise.

What is the penalty should I decide I do NOT want to purchase health insurance?
For tax year 2018, the penalty is the same as 2017.
For tax year 2017, the penalty is 2.5% of your total household adjusted gross income, or $695 per adult and $347.50 per child, up to a maximum of $2,085. For tax year 2018 and beyond, the penalty amounts have not been announced, but are expected to increase.
